Faculty of Human Ecology

SECTION 4: Bachelor of Human Ecology Programs
4.4 Comprehensive Program
Chair: Sheila Chmuhalek

The Comprehensive Program is designed for students who have career goals that require basic preparation in each of the major subject areas of the faculty. Persons who intend to select this program are advised that high school Chemistry 40S or 300 and Mathematics 40 are prerequisites to 002.130 University 1: Structure and Modeling in Chemistry.

Students pursuing the Bachelor of Human Ecology/Bachelor of Education Program enter this program. After completing the first year, these students must apply to the Faculty of Education. Further information about the integrated program is given in the Faculty of Education section of this Calendar.

Before entering continuing years in the Faculty of Human Ecology, the overall program must be planned in consultation with the program advisor. Sessions are held in March of each year.
