Section 3: Regulations
3.7 Deferment of Examinations Due to Illness
A student who is unable to write a test because of illness should consult with the academic staff member concerned upon return to classes. A student who is unable to write a mid-term examination should consult with the general office upon return to classes, and present a medical certificate. A student who is unable to write a final examination or deferred final examination must so inform the general office at the earliest possible opportunity, preferably prior to the exam date or on the day of the exam, and must present a medical certificate when fit. When tests or examinations of any kind are not written for reasons other than illness, the student should always contact the general office at the earliest opportunity. Failure to comply with the above procedures may result in zero grade for a test or mid-term examination or "F-NP" for final or deferred final examinations.
