General Academic Regulations and Policies Section 3: General Academic Regulations
3.20 Probation and Academic Suspension
A student's status is determined each session following final examinations. Students placed on probation are advised to discuss their program prior to their next registration with a representative of their dean or director as to which courses, if any, should be repeated. When next assessed, students must exceed the probation levels to be removed from probation or they will be placed on academic suspension.
A student placed on academic suspension will normally be permitted to apply for re-entry to the faculty or school after one year has elapsed, but reinstatement is not automatic and individual faculty or school regulations must always be consulted.
