Section 4: Courses
4.1 Guide to Course Selection
Most students must complete the written English and Mathematics requirements within the first 60 credit hours of their program. Some faculties, however, include these requirements as a condition for admission. The courses or course sections that meet these requirements are marked as "W" and "M" in the Calendar and Registration Guide and Course Timetables.
The University 1 curriculum should include: 6 credit hours from the Faculty of Arts, 6 credit hours from the Faculty of Science, and 6 credit hours from either Arts or Science. The remaining 12 credit hours may include courses from the list below, including courses offered by Arts and Science. Selections should include courses that are appropriate for entry to a student's desired faculty or school. Refer to the area pertaining to each faculty or school in this Calendar for details.
