Last date for receipt of internal and external transfer applications for admission (including complete documentation) to the Faculty of Arts from applicants wishing to take Distance Education courses starting in January 2002.

NOTE: Applications for admission to the Faculty of Arts to take on-campus courses commencing in January 2002 are not permitted.


Last date for application to write examinations at a location other than the University of Manitoba in courses ending in December taken through the Distance Education Program by independent study, group-based study, or net-based study.

Clinical Clerkship in Medicine begins.

Examination Obligations
Students are reminded that they must remain available until all examination and test obligations have been fulfilled.

Observance of Religious Holidays
The University acknowledges the right of all students to observe recognized Holy Days of their faith which fall within the above schedule and will, at its discretion, upon request, make necessary arrangements to ensure that studies are not jeopardized.

Instructors should be notified of a student's intended absence in advance, and at least three weeks' notice of absence from scheduled examinations should normally be given where special arrangements are sought.

Schedule of Registration Activities
The dates for registration in each faculty and school for the 2001-2002 session are published in the Registration Guide which is issued to all returning and new students and sent on request to others interested in this information.
