Environmental Option
The students can enter the Environmental Engineering option after the completion of 60 credit hours. Students taking the Environmental Engineering option in Biosystems Engineering are required to select the following courses as their electives:

Admissions to Medicine
The bachelor's degree in Biosystems Engineering provides the background to meet eligibility requirements for admission into the Faculty of Medicine. Students planning to apply for entrance to Medicine after completing the B.Sc. in Biosystems Engineering are advised to take 002.221 and 002.222 Organic Chemistry as their two free electives. They will also need to take 002.236 Biochemistry 1 and 002.237 Biochemistry 2 as additional courses.
