The interest generated by the Anatomical Research Fund will be used to assist graduate students and investigators in the following manner:
Graduate Student Scholarships - not exceeding $1,500. All full-time students in the Human Anatomy Program are eligible. They must not be recipients of any other scholarship, fellowship or studentship award or salary income, exceeding $10,000.
Grant-in-Aid of Research ($500 - $1000)* to anatomy faculty for the purchase of animals and/or supplies directly relating to experiments. This allocation will be made only when no other funds are available. Such interim financial support will be helpful to those who have been unsuccessful with their grant applications.
Transportation and Registration Fees (maximum $500.00) for Graduate Students who are presenting a paper at the Canadian Federation of Biological Societies, American Association of Anatomists, or a related professional scientific meeting.
This award will not be made if the supervisor has the necessary funds to cover the cost. Applications must be made at least six weeks prior to the meeting in order to take advantage of the most economical (advance booking/excursion) airfare. All expenses must be supported by receipts. |
