Eligibility Through the generosity of Messrs. Allan, Edward, and Peter Bronfman, a fund in support of the Allan Bronfman Family Bursaries was established at the University of Manitoba ca. 1970.
The bursary in Business shall be valued at one-third of the available annual interest.
The bursary in management shall be awarded to a student who has successfully met with high standing the admission requirements for the Asper MBA program and who, after being accepted by the selection committee for said program, registers as a full-time student in the next ensuing academic year for the Asper MBA program.
For the purpose of this entrance award, the academic year will be defined as beginning January 1 and continuing through December 31 (e.g., students admitted at any program entry point that falls within the 2011 calendar year would be considered for the scholarships for 2011/2012 regular academic session).
Applicants must demonstrate financial need on the University of Manitoba bursary application form. If for any reason the recipient of the bursary does not register as required, the bursary shall be awarded by reversion to the next qualified candidate.
