Eligibility The Canadian Respiratory Health Professionals offers the following awards: Fellowships are offered to respiratory health professionals who are members of the CRHP for graduate study at the masters, or doctoral level. Applicants must be: 1. a Canadian citizen, permanent Canadian resident or landed immigrant. These awards are normally held at Canadian institutions 2. a respiratory health professional and member of the CRHP (MDs are not eligible for CRHP fellowship support) 3. enrolled in a graduate (thesis based) program at the Masters or Doctoral level during the funding period (September 2011 - August 2012). Individuals who have applied to a graduate program but have not received acceptance may apply for a Fellowship. The award, however, will be conditional on acceptance into the program. Value: full-time students up to $10,000 part-time students up to $5,000 Application deadline: February 1, 2011 Visit http://crhp.myreviewroom.com/ for an application form. Student Excellence Award in Respiratory Health are for students enrooled in healthcare programs at universities, colleges or institutes. The intent of these awards is to: * encourage continued pursuit of a career in respiratory-related care * provide recognition of healthcare students who demonstrate commitment to respiratory care and/or leadership in their program of study * encourage membership and participation in CRHP activities.
