The Dairy Farmers of Canada, an organization that supports and promotes the use of Canadian dairy products in the Canadian diet, offers an annual award to a student graduating from Human Ecology who applies for graduate study or a dietetic internship, who exhibits
academic and leadership qualities, and who:
is enrolled in the Human Nutritional Sciences major;
has been accepted into a dietetic internship or practicum or into a graduate program in community nutrition or clinical nutrition (allied areas such as communication or business will also be considered);
shows high standing in Human Nutritional Sciences courses in the third and fourth years of the program with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 in those years; and,
shows evidence of involvement in student affairs in the Faculty and/or University. |
