The Chair in German-Canadian Studies and the Spletzer Family Foundation Inc. announce the German-Canadian Studies Fellowship Competition:
German-Canadian History Research Scholarship (Ph.D.) : For students at the University of Manitoba pursuing research on the history of German immigrants or their descendants in Canada.
German-Canadian Studies Research Scholarship (Ph.D.) : is awarded on a biennial basis for the most promising doctoral dissertation project on any aspect in the field of German-Canadian Studies.
German-Canadian Studies Research Scholarship (M.A.) : For students in the Joint Masters Program at the Universities of Winnipeg and Manitoba pursuing research on the history of German immigrants or their descendants in Canada.
German-Canadian History Research Scholarship (M.A.) : is awarded on an annual basis for the most promising Master’s thesis project in German-Canadian history by a student.
German-Canadian Studies Dissertation Prize and the German-Canadian Studies Master’s Thesis Prize: These prizes are awarded by the Spletzer Family Foundation Inc. to foster student interest and research into the past and present experiences of German-speaking immigrants and their descendants in Canada, as well as into history and nature of relations and exchanges between Germany and Canada. |
