Eligibility	The colleagues and friends of Dr. Gordon Harland and his wife, Ruth, have established a fellowship fund at The University of Manitoba. Dr. Harland was the founding Head of the Department of Religion and he was associated with that department and the University until his retirement in 1990. The available annual interest on this fund shall be offered each year as a fellowship to a student pursuing a graduate degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Religion at The University of Manitoba. The recipient will be selected from among those whose work is focussed in some aspect of Christianity—its history, scriptures, theology, ethics or relationship with other religions.
