Eligibility From a trust fund established by the will of Adalsteinn Kristjansson, the Kristjansson family has created another fund, together with a matching amount bye the University of Manitoba, to honour Jr. Kristjansson's nephew and namesake, Adalsteinn (Steini) Fridrikson Kristjansson, Q.C., who died in 1992. This scholarship is to provide either a "top-up" award to the University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowship or it can be offered as a "stand alone" award. The award will be offered to one of the highest ranked UMGF applicants entering the Master of Law (LL.M) pogram at the University of Manitoba. It shall be governed by the same regulations as those governing the University of Manitoba Fellowship. This award is non-renewable and cannot be held with any other supplementary awards.

Application Details Students cannot apply for this award, but are chosen by a selection committee named by the Dean of the Faculty of Law. Students who have entered the UMGF competition will be considered for this award.
