Eligibility	A fund has been established from the bequest of J.S. Lightcap, a prominent Winnipeg finance investment manager. This scholarship is to be offered to the highest ranked Ph.D. student applying for a new University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowship (UMGF) in that year's competition. This award may be held in conjunction with a national award by may not be held with the Osler Scholarship. The award is to be governed by the same regulations as those governing the UMGF. The J.S. Lightcap Award is non-renewable.
