Eligibility Since donations to the fund supported by the Lord Selkirk Assocaiton of Rupertsland have increased its balance to about $35,500, the Associaton offers to add a scholarship in the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences to the two it already provides inteh Department of History in the Faculty of Arts. The new award is to be offered in recognition of the agricultural heritage of the Lord Selkirk settlement and will provide support to a graduate stuents doing research in methods farmers may use to add value to their products before "leaving the farm gate". Selection of recipinets is to be based on teh academic performance and on the applicability of reserach to current farm practices.
