Eligibility From the testamentary gift of Mr. John A. Nevin, a fund supporting various awards has been established at The University of Manitoba. The available annual interest from this fund shall be distributed as follows: One Fellowship in Animal Breeding and Genetics ($18,000). A fellowship in the amount of $18,000 per year shall be offered to a student in animal breeding and genetics working with beef cattle. Preference will be given to a student engaged in the research and development of shorthorn cattle. The fellowship will be available to M.Sc. (two years) and Ph.D. (three years) students, renewable for one and two years respectively at the discretion of the selection committee.
