Eligibility Dr. Anita K. Ross has initiated a fellowship fund of $50,000 (including matching contribution from the University) to provide graduate fellowships for students of French language and literature. Dr. Ross, Vice-President, Human Resources, I.B.M. Canada Ltd., earned her doctorate in French literature at The University of Manitoba in 1972 and is a long-time supporter of post-secondary education in Canada.
This shall be offered each year as a fellowship to a graduate student at The University of Manitoba who is pursuing either a Master’s or a Ph.D. degree in French language or literature. Selection will be based on previous academic achievement (minimum G.P.A. of 3.5 or the equivalent).
