The Child Health Graduate Studentship in Nursing has been established at the University of Manitoba through contributions from the Children's Hospital Foundation and the University's Graduate Fellowship Matching Funds Program. This studentship will recognize students who already have practical work experience in Pediatric Nursing and show an interest in continuing to study at the graduate level in this field. This studentship will be offered to a student who:
has worked as a nurse, with a focus on children or child health, following completion of an undergraduate nursing degree;
is enrolled as a full-time student or part-time student in the Faculty of Graduate Studies, in a graduate program delivered by the Faculty of Nursing;
has achieved a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 (or equivalent) based on the last 60 credit hours (or equivalent);
has submitted the best research roposal for a graduate thesis in the field of child health, as judged by the selection committee. |
