Eligibility	From the bequest of Hilda Sharpe, a scholarship fund has been established in memory of her late husband, Clarence Bogardus Sharpe. Equally valued awards will be awarded, following the February meeting of the University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowship Committee, to students ranking highest among fellowship applicants. [These are offered as supplementary ("top-up") awards to the University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowship (UMGF) or to national awards.] The number of awards will be determined each year by the selection committee for the award, and will be based on the available annual income. A student, provided he or she continues to be a University of Manitoba Graduate Fellow or the recipient of a national award, is eligible to receive this scholarship a second time but only in competition with all other candidates. No student may receive this scholarship more than twice.
