Eligibility The Edward R. Toporeck Graduate Fellowship in Engineering has been established by a generous donation from Mr. Toporeck for the support of graduate work in any area of Engineering. He was employed by Manitoba Hydro for a year, then enrolled at MIT in September, 1930. He received his Master of Science degree in December, 1931. This fund has been established to foster Ph.D. study in any area of Engineering. The awards are available to students of high academic standing (minimum GPA of 3.5) who are registered in the Engineering program at the doctoral level.
