Eligibility	Friends and colleagues of Rita Wadien have made an endowment to honour the life of Rita S. Wadien, who received her M.Sc. degree from the University of Manitoba. The scholarship is intended to support a full-time graduate student in Geology, at either the M.Sc. or Ph.D. level. The award is open to all graduate students pursuing thesis research in geology or geological sciences. The award winner must be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident and must have graduated from a B.Sc. (Honours) program with high academic standing (at least 3.5 GPA). This award is not renewable.
