In memory of Dr. S.J. Winkler, a former member of the Faculty of Nursing, her colleagues and friends established a fund at The University of Manitoba in 1986. The award is available annually to a full-time or part-time student who has completed the first year of the Master of Nursing program.
Members of the Faculty of Graduate Studies are invited to submit a letter of nomination on behalf of the graduate student by April 30th. Faculty should address how the student demonstrates the following:
excellence in scholarship, i.e., as evidenced by the student’s transcript;
leadership
collegiality
