Eligibility Edward Benson Kernaghan (B.Sc. Electrical Engineering '26) established a trust fund at the University of Manitoba in 1951. The purpose of the fund is to reward the academic achievements of students who graduate from the Price Faculty of Engineering and who go on to undertake a Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Each year, the available income from the fund will be used to offer one or more scholarships to graduate students who:

(1) are enrolled full-time in the Faculty of Graduate Studies in the first or second year of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program;

(2) have graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree in any Engineering discipline from the Price Faculty of Engineering at the University of Manitoba prior to beginning their MBA;

(3) have achieved a minimum grade point average of 3.5 based on the last 60 credit hours (or equivalent) of study; and

(4) have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and the ability to excel in the MBA program.

Value $6,975 The selection committee has the discretion to determine the number and value of awards offered.
