This programme is intended for students who are attending Canadian universities, including graduate school, or are graduating and who have a strong desire to learn more about the role the Canadian Forces played in the liberation of Western Europe during both world wars.
This year's programme of study will include First World War battlefields such as Ypres, Beaumont-Hamel, and Vimy Ridge. Following a stop in Dieppe, the student will then explore the Second World War campaign in Normandy and participate in official ceremonies on June 6-7.

Participants will be expected to undertake background research, provide on historical on-site discussion, and make a biographical presentation on a Canadian soldier who is buries or commemorated at one of the sites on the itinerary. Each participant will also keep a detailed journal describing their experiences which will be submitted to the Foundation at the end of the tour.
