Eligibility The Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences, under the Directorship of Dr. N.S. Dhalla wishes to recognize the outstanding leadership and services of Professor P.K. Singal for developing a high profile graduate training program in cardiovascular sciences. To be eligible, students must:
  • be enrolled full-time in the Faculty of Graduate Studies (Masterís or Ph.D. program) at the University of Manitoba in a program delivered by the Faculty of Medicine, and affiliated with the Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences at St. Boniface General Hospital Research Centre;
  • have completed at least one Regular Session (or two terms) in the chosen program to date;
  • have achieved a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 (on all graduate courses completed to date).
Value Up to a maximum of $12,000.00 for 2018-2019; number of awards and value to be determined by the selection committee.
Currency Canadian
Tenable at Faculty of Medicine, University of Manitoba for the 2018-2019 academic year.

  • two letters of reference; one from your thesis supervisor and the other from a professor at a post-secondary institution; the online application system will allow you to enter the names and email addresses of your referees, and it will send them an email directly requesting they submit a letter of reference as part of your award application;
  • current curriculum vitae.
