Eligibility The Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences, under the Directorship of Dr. N.S. Dhalla wishes to recognize the outstanding leadership and services of Professor P.K. Singal for developing a high profile graduate training program in cardiovascular sciences. To be eligible, students must:
  • be enrolled full-time in the Faculty of Graduate Studies (Master’s or Ph.D. program) at the University of Manitoba in a program delivered by the Max Rady College of Medicine, and affiliated with the Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences at St. Boniface General Hospital Research Centre;
  • have completed at least one Regular Session (or two terms) in the chosen program to date (Fall 2023 & Winter 2024 or Summer 2023 & Winter 2023);
  • have achieved a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 (on all graduate courses completed to date).

Please note: the award may be held concurrently with any other awards, consistent with the policies of the Faculty of Graduate Studies.

One student may not hold this award more than once.

Value $14775
Award value and number of awards for 2023-2024 to be determined by the selection committee. Scholarship may be divided into more than one award. Total value distributed for 2023-2024 aid year is $14,775.

Tenable at Faculty of Medicine, University of Manitoba for the 2023-2024 academic year. Must have completed one regular session or two terms.
