Eligibility Mr. Leonard C. Klingbell, a graduate of the class of 1950 from the Faculty of Architecture at University of Manitoba, established a fund of to support a scholarship in the Department of Architecture. In 2005, left by Mr. Klingbell was added to the fund.
The scholarship shall be offered to a student who:
  • is enrolled as a full-time student and is entering Master’s 2 in the Department of Architecture at the University of Manitoba;
  • has achieved a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.3 on all courses completed in the Department of Architecture;
  • has demonstrated excellence in at least one Design Studio in the Master’s program.

  • In the future, at a time when the selection committee sees fit and the earnings on the fund permit, more than one scholarship may be offered in a given year.
