Eligibility An endowment fund was established by the Department of English in memory of Cheryl Lamoureux, a graduate student in the department when she passed away in 1998. The fund has reached a capital balance of $3,000 and will now be used to support a graduate prize in the Department of English. The prize will be offered to a student who:
  • is enroled full-time as a Masterís student in the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Department of English;
  • submits the most outstanding thesis proposal.

  • Preference will be given to proposals in the area of Canadian literature or gender studies.
