This award was established to promote excellence in research and scholarly activity in the area of primary prevention. The award encourages and supports training for outstanding graduate students and is open to any Master’s or PhD student enrolled in a Manitoba University program whose project has as its focus primary prevention in the following areas of risk factor reduction: physical inactivity, excess weight, or tobacco smoking. |
