Eligibility Through a bequest from Freda Driben, an endowment fund of $20,000 has been established at The University of Manitoba to provide support to graduate students in Social Work. Enid Driben-Triller, Freda’s daughter, graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1981 with a Bachelor of Social Work.
The scholarship will be offered to a graduate student:
  • is enrolled part-time or full-time n the Faculty of Graduate Studies in the first year of the Ph.D. program in Social Work at the University of Manitoba
  • was the student admitted to the program with the highest grade point average (minimum grade point average of 3.0)
  • Value available annual income
