Eligibility The Canadian Dairy Commission has provided a contribution to the University of Manitoba to create the Canadian Dairy Commission Scholarship Program. Beginning in the fall of 2006, this program will provide graduate scholarships to students who are Canadian citizens and permanent residents (i.e., landed immigrants) and who:
  • are enrolled full-time in the Faculty of Graduate Studies at the University of Manitoba in either the M.Sc. or Ph.D. program;
  • are conducting research in the areas of agricultural economics and policy, food science, or animal science (with a maximum of 20% of the total funds available to students in the Department of Animal Science) and whose thesis project has application to the dairy industry.
  • Value MSc $20,000/yr maximum 2 years; PhD $30,000/yr maximum 3 years. One time additional sum of $5,000 for travel costs.
