Eligibility	An endowment fund has been established at the University of Manitoba by Mr. B.A. Baryla (B.Sc./62). The fund will be used to support Geography graduate student travel in the Department of Environment and Geography. The available annual interest from the fund will be used to offer one travel award to a student who: is enrolled full-time in the Faculty of Graduate Studies in either the Master of Arts (Geography) or the PhD (Geography) program delivered by the Department of Environment and Geography; will be attending a professional meeting or conference in order to present the results of his/her research (poster or oral presentation). Selection of the recipient will be based on the quality of the abstract submitted and proposed research to be presented and the potential value of the meeting to the student's development.
