Eligibility	The Olenick family has established an endowment fund, at the University of Manitoba, with a contribution from the Manitoba Scholarship and Bursary Initiative. The available annual income from this fund and matching funds from the Edward Eric Hildebrand and Anne Palmer Hildebrand Memorial Scholarship Fund will be used to offer a maximum of three entrance scholarships, valued at $3,000 each, to graduate students who: are enrolled full-time in the first year of study in the Faculty of Graduate Studies, in a program delivered by the Department of Immunology; have achieved an excellent academic record, with a minimum degree grade point average of 3.5 (or equivalent) in the last 60 credit hours of post-secondary study, and have demonstrated potential for research excellence; (3) have proposed to conduct research in any area of Immunology. If, in the judgement of the selection committee, there are no suitable candidates in a given academic year, the scholarships will not be offered. The available funds will be held and used at the discretion of the selection committee to offer additional scholarships the following year.
