Humane Studies Fellowship Humane Studies Fellowships are awarded to graduate students and outstanding undergraduates planning academic careers and engaged in liberty-advancing research. The fellowships suppor Value: Deadline: December 31, 2011 Summer Graduate Research Fellowships is a non-residential research and writing program that provides an opportunity to refine and complete a publishable scholarly article or thesis chapter that engages ideas within the classical liberal tradition. The program begins and ends with conferences where fellows present their research and consider the classical liberal tradition. Throughout the summer, fellows participate in an online discussion forum about a selected classical liberal book or set of readings. Value: $5,000 stipend plus a travel and housing allowance to attned the two conferences. This program is by invitation only. Hayel Fund for Scholars provides awards to graduate students and untenured faculty members for career-advancing activities. The award is open to graduate students who intend to pursue academic careers and untenured faculty members whose academic work contributies ot the understanding of the principles, practices, and institutions necessary to a free society or to the understanding of the classical liberal or libertarian tradition. Value: $750 Deadline: submit your application at least four weeks in advance of your fundable activity. The Film and Fiction Scholarships will no longer be offered due to funding constraints. |
