| Eligibility |
The Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Manitoba offers annually one or more bursaries (funding permitted) to students who:
are enrolled full-time in the MSc or PhD program in biological sciences, with a focus on plant or fungal biology
have achieved a minimum degree grade point average of 3.0 based on the last 60 credit hours
have demonstrated financial need on the standard University of Manitoba bursary application form There is no restriction on how many times a student can receive this bursary. If no suitable candidates are identified in a given year, the allocation for that year my be used to support other student projects or may be reinvested in the Department's endowment fund. |
