Eligibility The Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Manitoba offers annually one or more bursaries (funding permitted) to students who:
  • are enrolled full-time in the MSc or PhD program in biological sciences, with a focus on plant or fungal biology
  • have achieved a minimum degree grade point average of 3.0 based on the last 60 credit hours
  • have demonstrated financial need on the standard University of Manitoba bursary application form
  • There is no restriction on how many times a student can receive this bursary. If no suitable candidates are identified in a given year, the allocation for that year my be used to support other student projects or may be reinvested in the Department's endowment fund.
