The Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation is a Canadian foundation that provides financial grants to art students and artists. Applicants are required to meet all of the following criteria to be eligible to apply for a grant:
Career Stage: Applicants must be in the early or developmental stage of their artistic career, either as an art student or as an emerging artist, and demonstrate a commitment to making the practice of their art a lifetime career.
Style of Work: Applicants must work in the representational or figurative style. The Foundation does not provide funding for the pursuit of abstract or non-objective art.
Discipline: Applicants must work in the fields of painting, drawing, sculpting or printmaking. No other artistic activities are funded.
Age: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of submitting their application.
NOTE: No geographic, citizenship or residency requirements. Grants are available to eligible applicants from around the world. |
