Eligibility Dr. Frederick A. Johnson (B.Sc.(Hons.)/45) has established an endowment fund at the University of Manitoba. The fund will be used to offer awards for students who have successfully completed a Bachelor of Nursing degree and are preparing for a career in health administration. The available annual income from the fund will be used to offer two scholarships of equal value to graduate students who:
  • have successfully completed a Bachelor of Nursing degree from an accredited university;
  • are enrolled full-time or part-time in the Faculty of Graduate Studies in one of the following programs: Master of Business Administration; Master of Nursing, in the Administration stream; Master of Science in Community Health Sciences; or Master of Public Health;
  • have achieved a minimum grade point average of 3.5 based on the last 60 credit hours (or equivalent) of study;
  • have demonstrated an interest in health administration
Value $23000
(approximate value) - the available annual income from the fund will be used to offer two scholarships of equal value.

Tenable at University of Manitoba for the 2017/2018 academic year.

Application Details Applicants are required to submit the following items to the Awards Assistant, Faculty of Graduate Studies, 500 University Centre:
  • a current curriculum vitae
  • two letters of reference (one academic and one professional reference)
  • a description of their career goals and how their current program of study will assist them in preparing for a career in health administration.
