Eligibility Dr. Frederick A. Johnson (B.Sc.(Hons.)/45) has established an endowment fund at the University of Manitoba. The fund will be used to offer (2) two awards for students who have successfully completed a Bachelor of Nursing degree and are preparing for a career in health administration. The available annual income from the fund will be used to offer (2) two scholarships of equal value to graduate students who:
  • have successfully completed a Bachelor of Nursing degree from an accredited university;
  • are enrolled full-time or part-time in the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies in one of the following programs: Master of Business Administration; Master of Nursing, in the Administration stream; Master of Science in Community Health Sciences; or Master of Public Health;
  • have achieved a minimum grade point average of 3.5 based on the last 60 credit hours (or equivalent) of study;
  • have demonstrated an interest in health administration
Value Two scholarships available maximum value of $16,312.50 each.

Tenable at Must be an enrolled UM Master's student registered in the 2025-2026 academic year. UM FGPS students in Business Administration, Nursing and Community Health Sciences must be registered in both Fall 2025 & Winter 2026 terms to be eligible for this award.
