Eligibility	In memory of Christine Michalchyshyn, a former student in the Master of Nursing Program and a dedicated nurse, her family and friends established a memorial bursary at The University of Manitoba in 1989. The available annual interest from the fund will be used to offer one bursary to a student who: is enrolled full-time or part-time in the Faculty of Graduate Studies and has completed the first year of the Master of Nursing Program; has demonstrated excellence in scholarship; has demonstrated leadership; has demonstrated collegiality; has demonstrated financial need (i.e., according to bursary standards set by the University of Manitoba). In any given year that there is no qualified graduate candidate, the award will be offered to an undergraduate student who: is enrolled full-time or part-time in the Faculty of Nursing, in Year 3 or Year 4 of the Bachelor of Nursing Program; has demonstrated excellence in scholarship; has demonstrated leadership; has demonstrated collegiality; has demonstrated financial need (i.e., according to bursary standards set by the University of Manitoba). Preference will be given to full-time students.
