Eligibility Percy John Procter passed away on June 4, 2007. John (or Pug as he was affectionately known to his nieces and nephews) was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, in October 1933, the youngest of five children. He grew up in the Wolseley area of Winnipeg and spent many summers at the family cottage in Gimli on Lake Winnipeg. He attended the University of Manitoba where he received his Master of Science degree in Entomology in 1961. Each year, the available annual interest from the fund will be used to offer one bursary to a graduate student who: (1) is enrolled full-time in the Faculty of Graduate Studies in the M.Sc. or Ph.D. program in Entomology; (2) has achieved a minimum degree grade point average of 3.0; (3) has demonstrated financial need on the standard University of Manitoba bursary application form.
