Mr. Gerald McDole (B.Sc./’60), retired CEO of Astrazeneca, and Ms. Judith McDole established an endowment fund in the amount of $100,000 at the University of Manitoba in 2020. The purpose of this fund is to recognize the outstanding academic achievement of students entering one of the Colleges located within the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences including the Dr. Gerald Niznick College of Dentistry, the Max Rady College of Medicine, the College of Nursing, the College of Pharmacy, and the College of Rehabilitation Sciences.
Each year, beginning in 2021-2022, the available annual income from the fund will be used to offer one scholarship to a graduate student who:

Doctoral program offered by a College in the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences at the University
of Manitoba; and

Each College of the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences may nominate one student for this scholarship.

nomination;
