FIRST TERM
August 30 First day of classes for 4th year Pharmacy.
September 7 & 8 University 1 orientation (compulsory)
September 7 First day of classes for Law and Social Work
September 8 Last date for first term fee payment without financial penalty (September 17 for Diploma Program in Agriculture).
September 9 Classes begin in most Faculties and Schools *
September 9 - 22 Registration revision period (September 20-29 for Diploma Program in Agriculture).
September 21 First day of classes for Diploma Program in Agriculture
September 24 Course registrations subject to cancellation for outstanding fees. Cancellation fees are assessed for reinstatement.
October 11 Thanksgiving - no classes
November 11 Remembrance Day - no classes
November 17 Last date for voluntary withdrawal without academic penalty from first term half courses **
December 1 Last date for receipt by Student Records Office of applications for graduation from students expecting to graduate in February or May of 2000
December 8 Lectures close in most faculties/schools (December 4 for Diploma Program in Agriculture).
December 9 Final examinations begin (December 6 for Diploma Program in Agriculture). Students must remain available until all examination obligations have been fulfilled.
December 21 End of final examinations and first term (December 13 for Diploma Program in Agriculture).
December 22 Christmas shutdown begins

Notes:
* Medicine, Dentistry, Med. Rehab. and Dental Hygiene Students should consult their registration material for starting dates.

** The telephone registration system closes at 5:30 p.m.
