Initial Access Times
Students within the Faculty of Dentistry will be given a week long access time to the registration system (UMREG) and will be able to register any time that the UMREG system is available during this week.
The Registration window for the 2004-2005 regular academic session will be July 12-16, 2004.
All newly admitted students as well as all returning students must register through UMREG. Registration must be complete prior to the first day of classes.
DMD Program for All New and Returning Students
Whether you are a new or returning student, familiarize yourself, not only with the information contained in this Guide, but also with the faculty chapter in the Undergraduate Calendar. However, the student advisor is available in D113 Dental Building or by calling (204) 789-3484 to help should you encounter difficulties in registering.
Telephone registration exceptions
Students who have a failing grade/s registered against them and/or have other outstanding academic matters (i.e. deferred or supplemental examinations, modified program, etc.) in regards to the previous academic session will not be allowed to register using the UMREG system. Students who fall into this category should contact the student advisor for further information.
The Faculty of Dentistry has a set program and therefore students are not required to register in individual courses, but register in yearly course packages.
